Solar Installations for Businesses in Gauteng

@fnet Projects designs and installs grid-tied and hybrid solar systems for commercial and industrial sites in Gauteng, from our base in Midrand. We size the system to your daytime load and budget, handle the installation and connection, and maintain it after handover so it keeps producing.

Grid-tied or hybrid solar?

A grid-tied system feeds solar power straight into your site’s supply during the day and cuts what you buy from the grid. It is the lower-cost option, but on its own it switches off during an outage. A hybrid system adds batteries, so it can store energy and keep selected loads running when the grid is down.

Businesses that mainly want lower electricity bills usually start grid-tied. Businesses that also need backup choose hybrid, or pair solar with a generator and UPS. We model your load profile first, so the system is sized to what you actually use.

When businesses call us

  • High daytime electricity bills

Offices, warehouses and factories that use most of their power in daylight hours.

  • Savings and backup

Sites that want lower bills and selected loads kept running during outages.

  • An existing system to extend

Solar that no longer matches the load, or needs batteries added.

How it works

Four steps. One person accountable.

  1. Step 1

    Assess

We assess the roof and review your electricity use, so the system is sized to how you actually use power.

  2. Step 2

    Quote

You get a fixed quote with the system size, expected production and what is included.

  3. Step 3

    Deliver

We install, connect and commission the system, and set up monitoring before handover.

  4. Step 4

    Support

Cleaning, inspections and monitoring keep production where it should be.

Questions

How much can solar save my business?

It depends on how much power you use in daylight hours, your tariff and the size of the system. We model it from your actual usage before we quote, so the estimate is based on your site, not a rule of thumb.

Does solar work during load shedding?

A grid-tied system switches off during an outage for safety. A hybrid system with batteries keeps selected loads running. We explain the trade-off for your site when we quote.

Does a solar system need to be registered?

In most areas, solar systems connected to the grid must be registered with the municipality or Eskom. We explain what applies to your site and help with the paperwork.
